Example output

Illustration: an FAQ page needs the questions and answers that are visible on the page. The JSON-LD schema generator emits FAQPage only for those pairs. It will not add a star rating you did not enter.

How to use it

  1. Choose the schema type that matches the visible page, such as FAQPage or Article.
  2. Enter only values that appear on the page.
  3. Run the JSON-LD schema generator and paste the object into the page template.
  4. Confirm the visible copy and the structured data still say the same thing.

FAQ

What is JSON-LD?

A way to describe the page in a script tag using schema.org types. It should repeat visible facts, not add hidden claims.

Can I mark up reviews I do not show?

No. Do not generate a review, rating, or price that a visitor cannot see and you cannot support.

Which type should a tool page use?

Use the type that matches the page. A tool can be a WebApplication. An article can be an Article. An FAQ block can be an FAQPage. Do not stack types the page does not contain.
