Example output

Illustration for a scheduling product: strength, the team already sits in the clinic's reminder workflow; weakness, no published case with a no-show number the team can verify; opportunity, clinics replacing manual reminder calls; threat, the incumbent suite is bundling reminders. The SWOT analysis generator keeps each item in one quadrant and ends with a single next action, such as collecting one verified no-show figure before the claim is used in an ad.

How to use it

  1. Write facts you can point to, not aspirations, under strengths and weaknesses.
  2. Write external changes under opportunities and threats.
  3. Run the SWOT analysis generator and delete any item that belongs in a different quadrant.
  4. Choose one action that uses a strength or reduces a weakness. Leave the rest for later.

FAQ

What is a useful SWOT item?

A useful item is specific enough that a teammate could disagree with it. "Good product" is not a strength. "Reminders already run inside the booking tool" is.

Should opportunities include our own plans?

No. Opportunities and threats are outside the company. Plans you control belong with strengths, weaknesses, or the action list.

How is this different from a competitor analysis?

SWOT is a four-part snapshot of your situation. Competitor analysis compares alternatives. Run that tool when a threat names a rival you need to describe.
